The King’s Kids Foundation, Inc. was formed in April 2008 by Frances and Billy Jones. Its purpose is to serve the needs of children in Monroe County, Alabama by implementing programs which enhance their educational opportunities and experiences. The foundation’s name, “King’s Kids,” reflects the founders’ desire to serve God by serving the needs of His children within their own community. King’s Kids is a local charity with 501 C3 status, not associated with any national or international program. The foundation is operated by a 22-member Board of Directors, who volunteer their time and talents to make the Foundation’s efforts successful. Since October, 2022, the foundation has employed a part-time executive director to oversee its programing. The primary goal of all King’s Kids projects is to help level the playing field for the children in our county, thereby increasing their chances of success.

Your donations help fund our annual Program of Work. Our programs touch children from birth to college age. We are ever grateful to our loyal donors, and appreciate each and every contribution made. At year-end, we send a report to all donors to update them on our programs and the people these programs are touching.
